Music Lessons for Adults

Learn Music as an Adult

It’s never too late to learn an instrument. Whether you’ve always dreamed of playing or are simply curious to try something new, music lessons as an adult can be an incredibly rewarding experience.

Learning piano or flute isn’t only for children. Adults often find a deep sense of achievement and joy in discovering new talents, exploring creativity, and fulfilling long-held dreams. Most importantly, lessons are meant to be enjoyable and uplifting.

As an adult student, you have the freedom to shape your learning journey. We’ll work on the essentials in a comprehensive and engaging way, but if you prefer to focus on a specific style or skip something that doesn’t excite you, that’s perfectly fine. Together, we’ll design lessons that reflect your interests—whether that’s classical pieces, popular songs, or even jazz improvisation.

To make the most of your lessons, you’ll need an instrument at home. For piano students, I recommend a keyboard with weighted keys for the best playing experience and technique development.

What You’ll Learn

Depending on your instrument and goals, lessons may include:

  • Harmony, chords, and scales

  • Technique and tone development

  • Sight reading and rhythm

  • Improvisation and creativity

  • Classical repertoire

  • Popular and jazz repertoire
